I have a direct-hire position available for a Lead Electrical Engineer in the state of Idaho.

• Candidate needs to be a self-starter 
  

• 5  year’s familiarity with electrical systems, grounding and protection for power plants and large industrial facilities. 
  

• Work activities include collection and interpretation of engineering data, development of project design basis, development of specifications, and performance of detailed engineering.   
  

• Must have experienced in directing the work of other electrical engineers and designers for projects.  
  

Design experience should include:

• 480v, 5kV & 15kV systems, equipment specifications and generation protective relaying.  
  

• Thorough knowledge of creating and developing one-line diagrams, grounding system design, load flow, coordination studies, and cable & raceway schedule/database coordination.  
  

• Experience with code requirements, coordinating design team technical issues, drawing delivery schedules, budgets and coordination with other disciplines.  
  

• Good communications skills. 
  

• A Professional Engineering (PE) license is required, but if you do not have one, my client is willing to take a look at other openings they may have.

Career history with working for an engineering firm – consultant

5 or more years doing electrical design for medium voltage power plant

P.E. - Electrical

Willing to travel at least 30%
